Privacy and cookies
Your personal particulars will only be used for the purpose for which you have provided these. We will not under any circumstances make your particulars available to others.
The Personal Data Protection Act
We observe the Personal Data Protection Act when processing personal information. The purpose of this act is to protect the privacy of citizens. This means that this act applies to personal particulars that:
· are stored, collected,
· made available in any other form,
· linked to one another,
· and/or protected
· via the Internet.
Based on the PDPA, we must inform the person concerned before processing any personal data. We are also obligated to state the reason for collecting the data.
Personal particulars
Within the meaning of the PDPA, a personal particular is a fact that can be resolved into an 'identified or identifiable natural person'. This means that the name of a person to which the particulars refer is known and/or that the person can be discovered. Examples of personal particulars include the name of a person, an address, email addresses and static IP-addresses.
Cookies
BKV, and Google Analytics on our behalf, use cookies for two purposes. First of all, we wish to facilitate matters for recurring users so that they need not enter their particulars time and again. If someone previously responded to a vacancy and checked the option “remind me”, then the details of the previous time will be reproduced automatically once the user responds again. The second reason for incorporating a cookie is to obtain statistic data concerning the visits to one of our websites*. The data obtained in this way is used to make our websites easier to navigate and to ensure that the content is better geared to the visitors.
The cookie that we use is actually a number of lines of text that our website automatically places on your hard disk during your visit. Thanks to the cookie, our website recognises you as a recurring visitor and then, for example, automatically fills in the fields that are relevant to you.
If you prefer us not to use cookies, then you can:
· deactivate all cookies in your browser. In the case of Microsoft Internet Explorer, for example, go to “extra” at the top, “Internet options”, “privacy”, “advanced” and then adjust all cookies to “block”.
· Delete the cookies following your Internet session. In the case of Microsoft Internet Explorer, for example, go to “extra” at the top, “Internet options”, “general” and then click on the button “delete cookies”.
If you accept cookies, then these will remain on the hard disk of your computer for five years, unless you remove them. The use of our websites and subsequently the use of the services we supply may be limited if you block or delete cookies.
